Creating your Terms & Conditions

Custom to your dealership - create and edit the terms and conditions your clients accept for contracts, forms and test drives.

Updated over a month ago

Sending contracts and agreements to your clients have never been easier for your dealership and for your clients.

Only Group Admin and Dealer Admin can create and update terms and conditions

Step 1 - Dealership Settings

  • Simply go to the Dealership settings pane, select your dealership from within your group and + Create.

Step 2 - Create Terms and Conditions

  • Select Category = 'Deal' for Sales Contracts

    • Note; Service Category is for a future feature - Stay Tuned!

  • Select the Type. For example, you will likely have different terms and conditions for a new car and a used car.

  • Title -> The heading the client see's when signing.

  • Content Text Box

    • Create from scratch or copy and paste from your existing agreements* and contracts into the text box. Formatting used, will be replicated when your client signs.

  • AI Summary. When saved, we will use AI to create a summary for your clients to help them understand the legal wording. Once, saved and created, you can edit this summary or switch it off completely.

  • When signing, your client cannot accept the terms and conditions when in AI Summary view and must switch back to your official terms and conditions.

*Your client will be presented your terms and conditions with the opportunity to [Accept] them and eSign to acknowledge them. As such, your terms and conditions should be communicated so that YES or NO questions are not used in the body of the terms, but simply with an opportunity to Accept ALL terms and conditions - not part of.

You must seek legal advice regarding the the wording of your terms and conditions. Drivible takes no responsibility regarding the terms and conditions of your dealership or the legality of the agreement between you and your client using eSign.

Drivible eSign is only a technology solution that helps you communicate your terms and conditions to your client and cannot be depended on to provide commercial legal advice.

Step 3 - Edit and Version History

Your terms and conditions can easily by edited by the Admins in your dealership. Once saved, a new version will be created and older versions will be archived. Older, archived version can be viewed at the bottom of the pane.

When a contract is eSigned by your client the version they signed is noted and can be relied upon in the future if needed. The actual terms and conditions version is also included as part the signed copy provided to both the dealership and client.

Once saved. Your most recent version of the Terms and Conditions will be available when your users next request an eSign.
